11 Jun 2024

Workvivo received the highest possible score in the roadmap criterion of the Forrester Wave™ for Intranet Platforms, Q2 2024.

June 6th – Workvivo has been named a Strong Performer in the Forrester Wave™: Intranet Platforms, Q2 2024. This was Workvivo’s debut in this Wave, which researched and analyzed the 13 top providers in the intranet platforms market. Forrester defined “intranet platform” in the recent 2024 Intranet Platforms Landscape as “a trusted digital source of corporate communication and content designed to educate and empower employees and improve their digital workplace experiences.”

Workvivo scored among the top three vendors in the Strategy category, which assesses criteria including vision, roadmap, adoption and partner ecosystem.

This news comes after Meta named Workvivo its only preferred migration partner as it retires its employee communication platform Workplace. Customers of Workplace now will be supported to migrate to Workvivo.

Workvivo’s EXP Vision

Speaking on the news, the CEO and founder of Workvivo, John Goulding, said: “We are thrilled to be named in the 2024 Forrester Wave™ for Intranet Platforms. When we built Workvivo, we didn’t set out to build an intranet platform but it’s amazing to see us now 6 years later named as a Strong Performer in this category.”

“This news just adds to the momentum we’ve seen in recent weeks with Meta’s announcement that Workvivo is their only preferred migration partner for Workplace customers. We’ve had an incredible year and even since we participated in this Wave process, things have changed a lot. We’re excited to see where the next 6 and 12 months take us”, he said.

The Forrester report mentions Workvivo’s strengths: “Workvivo has strong native collaboration tools such as communities, support for employee- generated content, and 1:1 and group messaging, which can extend to frontline workers. Other strengths include integration with major productivity suites, employee survey tools such as templates and builders, as well as trend reports.”

Product Roadmap and Strategy

Workvivo received the highest possible score in the roadmap and partner ecosystem criteria.

Andrea Graham, Head of Product and Engineering at Workvivo, said: “We were delighted to see that Workvivo scored the highest possible score in the roadmap criterion, which we believe reflects the vision and level of investment we are making in the future of our product. We have some game-changing product releases coming soon with our new listening suite Employee Insights, and AI Companion coming to Workvivo.

We run an extremely agile operation and are used to a rapid pace of innovation. The Zoom acquisition has empowered us to further accelerate our roadmap while also ensuring we are really thoughtful about the features and products we develop to ensure they’re helping our customers achieve our mission to elevate the employee experience.”

The Forrester report notes: “New deeper resources bode well for innovating – especially in areas such as video and AI – and reducing customers’ perceptions of the risk of working with small vendors.”

The Forrester Wave™ is an evaluative report that researches the top vendors in the space and assesses vendors on a set of criteria under three main categories: Current Offering, Strategy, and Market Presence. This report assessed 13 vendors on 28 key criteria.
