Workvivo by Zoom launches new Employee Listening Suite
- Workvivo is doubling down on the employee listening category, offering a counterpoint to other survey and listening tools on the market.
- Built into Workvivo’s employee experience platform, Employee Insights allows organizations to measure engagement and take action all within one platform.
- Employee Insights makes it easier to engage and get insights from frontline workers, with surveys deployed on the mobile and desktop app instead of relying on email distribution.
October 10th, 2024 – Today Workvivo by Zoom launches Employee Insights to the public, its employee listening suite that helps organizations measure, understand, and improve employee engagement.
Built into the Workvivo platform, Employee Insights empowers organizations to measure engagement on a continuous basis and take action on the findings – all within one platform.
Employee Insights measures 12 key drivers of employee engagement, including well-being, culture & values, career development, communication, and productivity. Automated, targeted pulse surveys can be deployed on Workvivo and appear on the home feed as well as in notifications for ease of access, designed to reach employees whether they are at a desk or on the frontline.
The results then populate real-time insight dashboards, which give overall engagement scores and a visual overview of results, and allow admins to drill down and filter findings by region, department, location, and score category.
Employee Insights also allows organizations to develop internal benchmarking to establish what is working within their organization and set a baseline that can be improved upon over time.
John Goulding, CEO and co-founder of Workvivo, said:
From day one when we built Workvivo, measurement was always a key pillar. As we’ve grown, we’ve heard from customers that they want to go deeper and really understand employee engagement. Running employee listening campaigns can be a real challenge. High response rates can be tough to achieve and many organizations are missing regular pulse checks and insights because of the cost and effort involved in running these surveys.
Our customers call Workvivo the ‘digital heart’ of their organizations and it makes sense for our platform to be the home of employee listening. With the majority of the workforce on the frontline, we are excited about the opportunity this gives organizations to understand their entire workforce better and take action on the results to improve the employee experience for everyone.
Andrea Graham, head of Product and Engineering at Workvivo, said:
Employee listening products have typically been siloed from the rest of the employee experience stack. We’re proud that Employee Insights is built into the Workvivo platform and makes listening much easier for customers. What’s unique about this tool is that organizations can identify areas that need attention and then improve engagement, all within the same platform. Surveys aren’t just distributed by email, but also appear on the main feed where employees start their day, which can lead to higher response rates, more accurate results, and continuous insights that organizations can monitor and improve over time.
The 12 key drivers of engagement measured by Employee Insights were developed in conjunction with industrial and organizational psychologists, as well as HR and communications leaders from Workvivo’s customer base.
Zoom AI Companion will be added to Employee Insights to allow admins to query survey data and surface relevant insights. AI Companion will also power recommended actions based on Employee Insights results, as well as sentiment analysis across Workvivo, enabling deeper insights into engagement with the platform. These improvements are expected to be available in H1 2025.
Industry benchmarking will allow organizations to benchmark their performance against industry norms to identify areas of strength and improvement. This benchmarking data is expected to be available in H1 2025. A manager portal for action planning and tracking is also expected to be available to organizations in Q4 2024.
Workvivo was acquired by Zoom in 2023 and has since been named by Meta as its only preferred migration partner as it retires its employee communications platform Workplace.
